If you were the CEO of Wal-mart, what would you do?

Posted on Mar 31st, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 31, 2007:

My answers to these questions will most likely get me banned from Zaadz but I will post anyway! After all you did ask right?

As the CEO of Wal-Mart, or anyone I would:
Pay my taxes.
Provide free health and dental coverage for my employees.
Provide an extremely decent pension plan (that other companies might envy)
Compensation would be in keeping with current industry standardsand above.
Add one week of paid  vacation for every year of employment not to exceed three months.

As far as products go, I like what we have now at the price we have it at.
I notice that I went into a Wal-mart the other day and I bought a cheese- slicer which broke at first slice. It was a Wal-mart brand. I took it back to the store, got my refund added some more money to it and bought a better brand at another store.
That was my choice and I made it.

Being pissed off at Wal-mart for selling cheap or inferior goods is going the wrong way!
Everyone gets to decide where they want to shop and what they want to buy.
Sam's Cola or Coke Cola?
The choice is yours.

What would you do if you had $10 million in the bank?

Posted on Mar 31st, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 29, 2007:

This is such a fun question!
I would first of all be delighted at this physical manifestation of my alignment with Source Energy. Money after all, is just another form of energy, nothing more.

I would return to California in a blink!
Spend my days exploring the mountains, the oceans the valleys and just loving every aspect of this beautiful breathtakingly magnificent state.

I would delight in my expanded choices of foods to eat, places to visit, activities to participate in, modes and classes of transportation. I would delight in the material world because that is why I projected here in the first place - to enjoy the best of it!

What, in your view, makes life meaningful?

Posted on Mar 31st, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 28, 2007:

The ability ot create my own life the way I want it is most meaningful.

To choose to experience joy in all that I do. To create with my thoughts and to refine what I want in every moment. To feel good mostly and to choose again, when I don't feel so good.
To follow my bliss.

What's one thing you know you could do to improve your health?

To avoid those who are in the business of practicing medicine!

Be aware that all illnesses have a vibrational cause, and clean up my  vibrations by allowing  more of my well being in. By paying attention to how I feel and choosing to let go of resistance by relaxing and finding things to laugh about.

Take a few paragraphs to describe a perfect world.

Posted on Mar 31st, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 25, 2007:

One in which everyone is doing what they want to do.

Before you shoot me, understand that If everyone truly did what he/she wants to do, desires to do, it will not harm one other who is in alignment with his/her own desires as well.

A perfect world.... where everyone minds his own business.
Where everyone chooses for himself only.
Where everyone is so connected to Source that the question of a perfect world becomes moot.

I have noticed that when I mind my own business, my world is absolutely perfect. As oppose to when I start shoulding on someone else... my world becomes a living hell.

A place to bliss out and meditate

I simply adore  http://www.panhala.net/Archive/Index.html for blissing out.
The poetry, coupled with the breathtaking photography and the music provides for an
exquisitely delicious experience.
With Love and Appreciation for Joe Riley.

Wage Peace

Wage peace with your breath.

Breathe in firemen and rubble,
breathe out whole buildings and flocks of red wing blackbirds.

Breathe in terrorists
and breathe out sleeping children and freshly mown fields.

Breathe in confusion and breathe out maple trees.

Breathe in the fallen and breathe out lifelong friendships intact.

Wage peace with your listening: hearing sirens, pray loud.

Remember your tools: flower seeds, clothes pins, clean rivers.

Make soup.

Play music, memorize the words for thank you in three languages.

Learn to knit, and make a hat.

Think of chaos as dancing raspberries,
imagine grief
as the outbreath of beauty or the gesture of fish.

Swim for the other side.

Wage peace.

Never has the world seemed so fresh and precious:

Have a cup of tea and rejoice.

Act as if armistice has already arrived.
Celebrate today.

What gives you hope for the future?

Posted on Apr 2nd, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 02, 2007:

Since I became aware with the powerful knowing that I am the creator of my own reality, the future is a non-issue.
Now is really all that matters. The future, like the past is just a perception of how I measure time.

A few years ago I also came to the knowing that  the news media scour our planet for only bad news and project their findings into my living room. At first I was mad, how dare them?

And then came the big  aha ha moment - I could just hit the power off button! YAY!

So I have not participated in the newsmedia for over 7 years now, nor do I intend to.

I have had to put up with people phoning me about the news throughout the years.
My mother, calls me up and says " I just saw on CNN that there are mudslides in California"

"Mother, I live in Northern California, and the mudslides are not my reality."

More recently "I saw on CNN massive flooding in New England"
"Mother, I live on a hill, high and dry and about fifty miles from that reality."

Okay, this sounds harsh but my experience has thought me that if I focus like a laser beam on only the good news, that is what is going to show up in my world every single time.
It has and it does and I do not intend to tune in to another channel as I love what I see on this one.

I am inspired when I drive along the Central Coast and on I 5 in California. Have you seen the amount of food they grow there? My goodness our planet is abundant with food.

When I drive in Costa Rica and see miles and miles of plantations, and okay you get the picture.

Our planet Earth is a living being and She knows how to take care of herself she has done so for eons and eons ( sorry man does not have the capability of measuring just how old she is)  and she will continue for eons and eons, so who are we to say or think she is in peril?

I really don't see that when I go to the rainforests, the oceans, the mountains or the islands.

I see a planet that is abundant and resplendent with just about everything we  could ever want for the best life we could ever wish for, and best of all: If there is something that isn't here, all we have to do is dream it  and there it is!

I am inspired to dream, imagine and thus create a magnificent world where everyone gets what they want. Oh wait, that is already happening!
Everyone is getting what they are creating, and the genius of it is that if they don't like what they are creating, they just have to focus a bit more on what they want to create!

Okay back to imagining a rose with blue and white hues tinge with specks of fuchsia.
I know this already exist, I just have to find it....

All is well.

Appreciation for Zaadz Team

I appreciate the Zaadz Team for the stimulating questions they pose each day.

I love how it inspires each one of us to formulate our answers based on our beliefs, filters and our writings on our walls. It is really, really nice to read the unique responses posted.

This actually responds to the question about describing a perfect world.

It would be like this! Where each on of us would get to be and do and have what we want individually. There would be no pushing against. We would be so in love with ourselves and what we were doing, that we would not care to mess in other people's affairs.

Doing what we love in a state of love would mean we were so connected that doing something to harm another would be impossible.

That feels good! Universe, more please!

A gift of bliss

Today I had an unexpected gift  that was delightful beyond words.
I had the entire day to myself and this is what I did with it:
I ran a hot bath and read The Ice Queen until the water cooled off to tepid.
I fixed a cranberry cocktail and read some more.
Fixed a sald for dinner and read some more.
Enjoyed a slice of warm poundcake with orange marmalade, a cup of tea and read till the very end.
What a beautiful story that was. Magical, real, surreal, every thing is possible and nothing is impossible.

Skywalk, Grand Canyon

I wasn't even aware that the Skywalk had opened, until a friend mentioned it to me this week http://news.thomasnet.com/IMT/archives/2007/03/engineering_marvel_grand_canyon_skywalk_for_tourism.html

While I am very impressed with this bit of engineering marvel I would not be walking on it any time soon.

For one thing, I was there about four years ago.
Paid ten bucks, drove on roads that made me think my off road vehicle was a toy version.

The best part of this trip was that  I got to literally stand close to the edge, look down at the ribbon of water called the Colorado River and (here comes the bestest part) take photographs to my heart's content.

You can't take photos from the Skywalk.

Most Delightful Morning Coffee Guest

Posted on Apr 15th, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess

A pleasure I look forward to is waking up on my own on Sundays and lazily greeting the morning.

As I adjust the pillows for a sitting position, I can am inhaling the fragrance of the perfect cup of freshly brewed stovetop latte which is making its way to me.

It is always a blissful experience to be served coffee in this way by my beloved on Sundays.

Today I had the urge to watch the view My House In Umbria again, and then I wondered who else liked that movie on Zaadz besides me? I found exactly two others, one of which is http://maitrilibellule.zaadz.com/ who has the most delicious website I have ever had the pleasure of reading!

Maitri was the most delightful Morning Coffee guest I have had in a long time.

We have read and seen most of the same books and movies.

She has read SARK for example and I had never met another soul who even heard of her!

I have all my SARK merchandise from years ago, and will not part with even a pencil!

Maitri also loves The Two Fat Ladies!

In my opinion no one on TV has ever loved and enjoyed the ritual of cooking and eating as much as these two women. They lived, moved, and had their beings in the purest joy of cooking.

I want to be as an abandoned a cook as those two were.

Right now I am about to give way to my abandonment - Instead of the grilled chicken for lunch, we will now be having - chicken fried in a rich buttermilk coating... (See weekend WSJ edition for recipe)

It's been a  rare pleasure Maitr I will be visiting often!

Virtual Reality

The mood decides the fortunes of people not the fortunes...

So how to change my mood to a more pleasing one?

I have found that the Virtual Reality Process by Abraham-Hicks in their book Ask and It Is Given is an excellent process for changing my mood.

I adore the premise of this process and I have the greatest fun with it.

Overlooking Half Dome, in Yosemite National Park.

It is noontime.

The skies are blue with wispy clouds lazily going by.

I am wearing shorts and tee shirt, sitting on a smooth cool rock, barefooted.

Half Dome is majestic in the distance.

I can smell the pine in the air.

A gentle breeze is stirring the sleepy leaves and brush nearby.

I can hear the silence of this place and feel the vastness of it.

In the distance I hear the delightful laughter of a child.

I laugh out loud at the sheer joy of being here too.

I imagine

Posted on Apr 18th, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
Collage

I imagine that God imagines me to be as I imagine myself to be.

God does not approve or disapprove of me, for whatever I am or choose to be in any given moment I am being that which God is.

I want to feel exhilarated and full of eagerness for life and all that is.

I want to feel total in alignment most if not all of the time.

I want to do everything and anything that will bring me these feelings of utter joy. Sometimes that is as simple as putting up my feet, or planning to take a world cruise or painting a room. I am going after a feeling here, not necessarily an accomplishment or a destination of some finished goal.

What would make me feel good right now?

For one thing a foot rests, so hold on while I grab one. Okay, it feels wonderful to take a load off.

Next what else would make me feel good? Eating dinner earlier tonight, since I had no lunch today.

And so it goes; always looking for the next feel-good experience, the next, and the next...

Booyakasha!

Posted on Apr 24th, 2007 by LeisureGoddess : Selfishly oriented towards Feeling LeisureGoddess
Booyakasha!

How is yous?

This past weekend I immersed myself in the comedy of the genius – Sasha Baron Cohen. I think he is the funniest guy in like forever!
Even his speech at the Golden Globes was funny!

I like Ali G because we all take life much too seriously and there is nothing to be serious about. We project here for a blink and then we withdraw ( that thing we call death) and then we are back again in another blink. Nothing to be serious about.

My newest process is to sit in my massage chair for 15 minutes each evening and watch Ali G on YouTube.
I cannot tell you how many dis eases I am warding off, just by practicing this little process.

Won’t it be nice if I could get a hold of all the stuff he did for Channel 4 in the nineties???

Peace Out,
Respect!
